Paid Apprenticeships & Experience-Based Programs

Are you a fresh graduate — or early career professional — who wants real field experience, real learning, and real impact?

HHREF offers paid apprenticeships, training placements and experience-based programs in Nepal, in collaboration with credible agencies, institutions and organisations working in:

  • Health
  • Education
  • Environment

These opportunities are flexible, designed to fit learning goals and academic schedules — ranging from 2 weeks to 12 weeks (and longer, on request).

Why Nepal?

Because Nepal is a living classroom — from the high Himalayas to wildlife plains, from village schools to community-based innovation sites.

If you want to explore Nepal — mountains, trekking routes, wildlife, photography, culture, food — HHREF collaborates with partners such as Wildlife Haven and others to facilitate safe, ethical and meaningful experiences.

Our model

We are a for-profit, non-distributing company.

This means:

  • The profit generated from these apprenticeship programs does NOT go to individuals.
  • It is reinvested to strengthen education, health and environment systems in disadvantaged communities in Nepal.

This is how we turn learning into impact — and impact into transformation.

Who is this for?

These opportunities are ideal for:

  • fresh graduates building a CV
  • students needing field placement hours
  • early-career professionals seeking applied experience
  • anyone who wants to learn from communities, not from slides

If you want to learn — and also contribute — this is the right place.
